Nudist Resort Hook Ups
Are Nudists More Sexually Active?
THE SHORT ANSWER IS "YES," BUT THERE'S MORE TO IT.
It's a fair assumption that people who enjoy nudism have a liberal mindset when it comes to sex, but it's a leap to conclude they employ an "anything goes" policy. In fact, most don't, and the swinger community is not a big part of the nudist community (it's actually quite small). Even Hedonism resorts (II & III) are not overtly "swing" oriented, though chances are, if you visit either one, you'll see couples touching and, to be honest, not a minor bit of oral mischief and outright groping on display. But the point is - being there doesn't mark you out as a Plato's Retreat type (a reference that will only work for the oldest among you). Hedonism can be very naughty, but in a playful way. Caligula wouldn't find it interesting.
A more typical nudist resort in the Caribbean will have policies against overt sexual displays, but otherwise remains adult in tone. Couples resorts are for marrieds or singles, including unattached singles, so a man or woman venturing solo will usually have plenty of interesting prospects. Now, it's not often that you meet a single woman who from the onset is nude. What's that like? To say the least it can be challenging if you're a male.
The reason for that is obvious and all we need to say on that point is, erections, or just semi-erections are part of the scene. You manage it as best you can. The worst-case scenario is being embarrassed, and you may be kidded, but nothing more. It's hardest (so to speak) at the beach bars, especially at night if the resort is a 24/7 nudist retreat, where you're mixing alcohol and nudity. If it's crowded, and it usually is, you might find yourself accidently rubbing up against other patrons, male or female. Whoops.
But the question is, what about hook ups at nudist resorts? In my experience, your fellow nudist female is sexually liberated as well, and as the course of your initial socializing involves both of you being nude, of course you're on an accelerated path to having sex. You may correctly be thinking, "Well, duh."
I don't have a player mentality and I don't try to sleep with every woman I meet. It's just not me. Anyway, being a nudist sort of takes the pressure off. Men who aren't nudists may only see, in the flesh, a dozen or so women naked in their lifetime. If you're a nudist, you can see hundreds in a single day on a nude beach. Believe me - it takes the pressure off. They're not all potential Met Art models, but neither are they anywhere else, including in Brooklyn bars or Miami beach clubs.
Nudist flirting is the strangest thing in the world. Aside from the obvious physical signs of attraction, which are not hidden, you have to deal with touch, as is having a naked woman put her hand on your arm, shoulder or knee, as they might do in a typical bar back at home where you're both clothed. It's like receiving an electric shock ramped up to eleven.
If you're both on your fifth or sixth rum (and often you will be - you're at a tropical resort, remember), the "touch" is the last straw. If you've evolved to that level, chances are you're exchanging room numbers. Or, if you're at Hedonism II, you'll both just head to the beach you'll find other couples who have "discovered" true love.
In my experience these are not "hook ups" in the usual sense, just a casual dalliance with no breadth or further meaning. I won't say how many women I've met in the course of my nudist life traveling the nude beach circuit in the Caribbean. But I will say I've kept up with all of them, taken several more trips with a couple of them, and have traveled to see them in the States. None of our are looking for marriage (most of us have already been there and divorced). But we all enjoy the minor adventure of heading to the tropics a couple times a year, frolicking naked on sun bleached beaches, drinking rum into the night. It's not for everyone, but if it's for you, I assure you won't be alone. One tour through my galleries will be proof enough. DavidZ
