Pure Nudist Camping
Nudism & Camping Go Together
NUDITY AND CAMPING WITH GIRLS OR CLOSE FREINDS
Assuming the climate is cooperating, sitting naked with a woman in the calm collage of a living forest is a scenario filled to the brim with therapeutic benefit and excitement. In other words, are there other scenarios you can think of that beat the idea of getting naked in the woods with a girl? I’m going to go ahead and think not.
Before I discovered I was a nudist at heart I knew I liked the rules-change that came with camping regarding privacy - there weren’t many rules or privacy. My first experience came from camping with a group of friends in the Shenandoah Forest one hot summer (two males, three females). Skinny dipping didn’t seem optional but necessary: After a long hike to a campsite near a stream, stripping just seemed natural, requiring no negotiation or coaxing. (Also, dealing with wet clothes is no fun, and changing into a bathing suit requires open nudity so why bother putting one on?)
Our morning routine became a nude rinse in the stream, with no one bothering to quickly get dressed afterward, but instead preferring to let the rising sun dry us off au naturel before beginning the day’s explorations. The open nudity also meant when it came time to change or sleep, everyone was very open about it (no sealing oneself up in a tent for privacy). It was this communal aspect of nudity that opened my eyes to nudism generally.
Stepping back from the “nudist” business, camping by itself takes me away from the bondages and fiascos of daily life, thus freeing me from the external controls of the world, and for those reasons alone the exercise is worthwhile. Camping puts me (and everyone else) in a perpetual “present tense” where I lose the plot of civilization. Bodily appetites seem to fill the void, and being naked ramps it all up to eleven. You see a lot of “getting naked with girls in fields” posts on this site, and for that there is a good reason. It makes one incredibly horny. Something about being naked out in the open really juices one up.
And that applies to nearly everyone who tries it, regardless of their initial resistance. I learned this in high school. Take a girlfriend into the woods and the first thing you both think of is getting naked (though she’ll insist otherwise for a few excruciating moments). When I discovered this fact I became quite the woodsman. Being with a girl as she takes her clothes off in a sunny spot on a warm afternoon after school is a fantasy we all seem to share. Monet made a living off it.
After ten years of marriage I became single again, joined a few of those dating sites (mixed results, but worth the effort), and always put “camping” and “hiking” in my profile with some emphasis. When meeting new women, I discovered that the progression to “intimacy” occurred much more quickly during summer months when first dates were hikes or camping. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.
I belong to an adventurers group I met on Meet Up, and also a group through our local REI store, so hiking and camping more or less define my weekends during warm weather. A word of caution on nude hiking groups - they tend to draw mostly older men hoping tweens will be participating. It’s different in Europe as you’ll see in European Nudism.
With true adventurer groups and REI types, nudity pushes no boundaries. People get naked all the time during summer outings and there’s a good age/gender mix. Of course, my favorite camping experience is with a woman or small groups of friends. The National Parks service doesn’t seem to mind nudists generally, and I’ve only heard of one couple getting harassed. (The Moab Desert group is the most active in the States - those people can’t keep their clothes on. See Rogue Nudists). Nudist Camping
